How to find the market value of your books to sell

Please note Bookogs is still in its early stages, so we don’t yet have much sales data. You may have to consult a few different sources to get your sale price right. We hope we’ll one day get to a point where we become the authority on book versions and pricing, much like Discogs is for vinyl records, CDs, and cassette tapes. We appreciate you helping us achieve this!

Start by searching for the book you want to sell on Bookogs and check the prices of any that are already listed for sale. If there aren't any listed on Bookogs yet, try other marketplaces like eBay and Amazon. Be sure you're looking at the same version of the book you've got by checking the unique item IDs. Also keep the condition of your book in mind, for example a DVD in its original case with original inserts or promotional items (like posters or leaflets) may be worth more to a buyer than without, and defects like scratches on the disc will lower the market value.
