Adding Submission Notes To Edited Book Submission

When you edit an existing book in the database, there is a free text box at the bottom of the page for you to add a description of the changes you've made.

While it's not mandatory to fill this field, we encourage you to enter submission notes when making changes in the database. Submission notes don't need to be overly detailed: it can be as simple as stating you changed the spelling of a credit's surname, the format of a date, or if you added an additional field to the submission.

This helps us ensure accuracy in the database, adds context to the history of the book page, and gives the original contributor a clear overview of how their submission was edited.
