Born on 19 April 1969, from 1975 he began to attend the home with his father, also an Alpine Guide.
Gathering his passion and less his advice (he had forbidden him to climb) he began to venture into the first climbs on the Brenta peaks in the early 80s.
Climbing first for fun and training seriously, at age 17 he exceeds the selection for Alpine Guide, becoming a professional in 1988.
Italian Ski Mountaineering Champion in 1991, he took part in some extra-European expeditions, opening among other things the new "Infinito Sud" route to Cerro Torre in 1995.
Become ski instructor in 1990 and Alpine Guides Instructor in 1997.
