Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD)

Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), also known as acid, is a semisynthetic psychedelic compound. LSD was first synthesized by Albert Hofmann in 1938 from the fungus ergot which grows on grain. Effects typically induce altered states of consciousness, typified by altered thoughts, feelings, and awareness of one's surroundings.
