Olga Tokarczuk

Olga Tokarczuk is a Polish writer, activist, and public intellectual. She won the Man Booker International Prize in 2018 for her novel Flights (translated by Jennifer Croft), becoming the first Polish writer to do so. In 2019, she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for the year 2018.
