Tony Spina

Tony Spina (born 1914) was an American photographer. In 1944 he joined the Detroit Free Press in Detroit, Michigan, and in 1952 was appointed Chief Photographer. His career at the Free Press lasted 44 years and he won 450 awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the Detroit riots of 1968.
