Amédée Ardoin

Louisiana Creole musician (Cajun accordion, vocals), known for his high singing voice. Along with fiddle player Dennis McGee, Ardoin was one of the first artists to record Cajun music.

His name has also been spelled as Amédé, Amadé, or Amadie
